Carpet Limited Lifetime Installation Warranty

To the extent permissible under applicable law, Royal Home Flooring warrants the workmanship of the carpet installation for lifetime, including all seams, restretches, and stairwork. Royal Home Flooring's warranty applies only to installation labor and is not transferable. The warranty applies to single-family homes used solely for residential purposes. CARPET: What's not covered

Carpet Buckling that is caused by the following will void all warranties:
  • Furniture movement without the use of CRI (Carpet & Rug Institute) approved sliders.
  • Overuse of Steam extraction cleaning and/or using a non-CRI certified Cleaning service to clean your carpets annually per Warranty guidelines.
  • Carpet buckling due to excess moisture. Inside your house during summertime, you’ll notice your doors start to stick. This is typically from moisture inside your home. When there is more humidity the elements inside your house will absorb more of that moisture and begin to expand. Your carpet and flooring will do the exact same thing. When expansion happens your carpet will tighten up and then when the wintertime hits you can notice your seams loosen up. This fluctuation of humidity and moisture can wreak havoc on your flooring products
  • To avoid carpet buckling, follow these simple tips:
  • Avoid dragging heavy items across your carpet when you can.
  • Let your wall-to-wall carpet become acclimated to it’s new environment before walking on it or exposing it to high traffic.
  • Never attempt to re-stretch your carpet yourself.
  • Control the humidity of your room when you can to avoid exposing your carpet to drastic temperature changes.
  • Failure to Follow the Proper Carpet Cleaning Guide Will Void All Installation Warranties

Flooring Transition Strips (Thresholds) are NOT Covered with Warranties

The subfloor provides the even base on which all finished flooring materials are installed. Changes in height between different flooring materials are caused by material thickness and/or installation methods. Standard practice (unless discussed prior to construction and specified in the Agreement of Purchase and Sale or contract) is to install a transition strip to ease the change in height. These transition strips do not constitute a tripping hazard.

Flooring transition strips take quite a pounding when you think about it. There they lie across a door way and virtually everybody that passes over them will, at some time, hit them with something

    What We Will Do

If any portion of your installation should fail with respect to this warranty, we will repair the improperly installed portion. Repair is the sole remedy under this warranty. Repair or replacement does not renew or extend the terms of this warranty. Any warranty on the repair expires one year from the date of the initial installation or 45 days from the date of the repair, whichever is later. The repair will be performed by the original Installation Team, if possible, and during regular business hours. There is no guarantee that the same or a similar product to the original flooring will be available at the time the repairs are made. You agree to accept a reasonable replacement product or substitute Installation Team, if either may become necessary. If additional materials are required, you shall be required to incur such costs.

We reserve the right to investigate, assess and validate reported claims by, among other things, requesting samples from you for technical analysis and performing an inspection of the flooring and installation location.
